Overview

Problem Solving is a way of approaching organisational problems that is characterised by continuous improvement and the use of proven, problem solving methodologies. By training employees with a common set of tools, it allows teams to:

  • Identify and solve problems in less time
  • Involve everyone in the problem solving process
  • Use data and process flow to focus on problems ‘
  • Develop practical and detailed solutions
  • Develop a problem solving culture in which employees at all levels are empowered to identify and solve problems

  • Understand root cause analysis
  • Understand the importance of collecting data for problem solving
  • Learn basic problem solving tools: fishbone diagrams, 5 Whys, Pareto analysis
  • Perform root cause analysis on real workplace problems
